I have just got a new graphics card and need some drivers for it. The card is a inno3d 6600 agp 256mb the part number is I-A6600-G3F3 . Can someone please tell me what drivers i need and also where to get them and do i download and install the drivers before i put the new card in. Thanks in advance.

go there and look for folders in the 81.98 ->88.61. from my experience with older cards, drivers dont make much difference in performance -

i think u can install them after u put the card in...i think when u first put the card in w/o any drivers..ur screen will be very shaky and laggy, so i recommend dling the drivers firstComment

Ok cheers but i am not really sure what to do with the link. When i click on what you said it gives you more choices so what do you do. Sorry to sound simple but it is something i have never done before and is all over my head.Comment

before you instal your card, go to the nvidia website and download the latest driver.
after that, shut down and instal your new card and start the system up again. your screen will be a bit off, probably at 800x600 @60Hz, and seem a bit laggy. no worries, just instal the driver file you just downloaded. it will prompt you to restart your system after instalaton is complete.
once you instal and restart, change your display settings to what you want and your good to go.Comment
