    Windows Media Player Pink Hue

I reformatted my computer yesterday, and now when I try to play any video in it, the video has a bright pink hue.

What do I need to do to fix this? Codec?

I downloaded Windows Media Player 11, and the problem persists.

I am running nVidia. Where would the option be, though?

In the control panel? If so, where exactly?

      Thanks a bunch.

      Anybody have a solution?

        You can try this:

3.) Set "apply color changes to" to "overlay".
4.) Set "color profile" to "advanced mode".
5.) Click "apply" and close the advanced display properties.

          Nope, nothing.

I'm using the 91.45 drivers from Tweaks R Us, so that could be the problem.. but I really don't feel like changing drivers.

            You can also try:

While in Windows Media Player click File (or the down arrow next to your minimize button)

            Go to Tools

            Go to Options

While in Options, click the Performance Tab

Find the Video Acceleration portion at the bottom of the Performance Tab and click "Advanced"

Check the "Use high quality mode" box (this should uncheck the "Use overlays" box)

            Click OK

            Click Apply

              Bah, this is angering me.

              Still no go.

I'm beginning to think that it's just my drivers, or maybe a missing codec.
