    Thanks for the suggestion:

    I was also looking at this one: http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...ufacture=ANTEC

    Which of the two would be better? I heard quality really matters when buying a Power Supply, so I would like to get one of good quality.

      Go with Neo HE500 for $3 more. You get Modular Cabling, a 3rd +12V rail and it's ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V compliant.

      I have the system below plus 2 HDD's, 1 DVD-Rom and 1 DVD-Burner on a Antec SmartPower 2.0 500w PSU. Never had a problem even when I upgraded from a x800XL to the x1800XT which is a power beast.

        those are good power supplies. i have the 380W version, and i like the fact that they include a thermal "fan only" molex. whenever the system heats up, the psu senses it and the fans get faster..meaning that the computer stays incredibly quiet until it's extremely stressed. i can't believe they are $100CAD. my gosh, i can get a 550W for $76 USD ($85CAD). Is it possible to have radioshack ship it to Oh Canada!?

        Anyway, yeah. Better to get a decent quality PSU, because it CAN smoke everything it's plugged into.

          Thanks, I'll get the one you've recommended.

          Finally, I figure I'll get one case fan - but which one?

            Depends on the places your Case has a spot open for a fan along with Size. Also depends on what you consider too much noise.

              Noise doesn't really bother me.

              A small fan will do.

              My tower has the following dimensions:

              * Depth
              * 17.5 in

              * Height
              * 17.5 in

              * Weight
              * 28.0 lbs

              * Width
              * 6.6 in

              I can take a picture of the inside of my case - give me 5 minutes.

                Need to figure out the size of the fan you need. There are 80mm, 92mm and 120mm.

                  I think 80mm will do - I just need some extra cooling for OC'in my Processor and Video Card a tad.

                  Here's a picture - sorry, my photography skills aren't very great !

                  Also, how would I clean my case?

                  Should I just get a can of air and spray it on the inside of the case?

                    Any 80mm fan will do as long as you are sure it will fit in the open slot. A can of compressed air works fine for cleaning out the dust, just dont try and spray upside down or tilt the can too much becuase then the freon starts to come out.

                        The Vantec should be fine, It's got decent cfm and quiet. No idea why it's lemon scented.

                          there is no freon inside cans of compressed air. check your owners manual.

                          also, i have a vantec 120mm fan, and i have used their 60mm stealth version in a sff pc. very quiet from my experience. don't know about the zalmans. they make wonderful cpu and gpu coolers, though. surely someone online has reviewed them?
