    Weird question , please help

Guys i have bought a Thermaltake VC3000SWA Armour Jr SuperMidi Tower and built a Conroe system inside .

Unfortanatley i have had to move my USB2.0 and 1394 ports on the top as they are in the way of all my PSU cables .

Since i have had to move them i have no way of connecting my Logictech Precision Gaming headset , the one with a balck and pink connector . I have tried it around the rear of the comp in the motherboard sound sockets but to no avail ???

What can i do to remedy this ? Is there a USB headset that will work , or does anyone sell a 1394 card so that i can just plug in the headset and leave it there ?

Failing all of that above i have a USB socket on my G15 , can i plugg in a USB headset and game away ?

Please help as i have no Voice Over playing BF2 and it,s causing problems

I don't see why the back panel wouldn't work... where are you plugging in the mic and headset? The mic should go in the pink one and the headphones should go in the green one.

Did you make sure that everything was unmuted and the volume up on the headset? (just checking)

Anyway, I bought a USB headset from Logitech, and I like it. You can have the game sounds go through your normal 5.1 speakers and then route all your teamspeak audio/voice to the USB headset, so it's separated. Unfortunately with BF2, the in-game VOIP will be in the 5.1 speakers too, but the mic will still work properly.

Yes they are all unmuted but the USB option may be a no go then as i need quiet for when the kiddies are in bed .
