Hi, my ingame name is Hippodog, and I enjoy helicopter flying, special ops sneaky destruction, and long walks on the beach. I'm currently a Corporal, and only about 200 points from Sergeant. I've unlocked the second-tier Special Ops weapon, and am looking at the third unlock. Not sure how well it works, but after having had it used on me a few times, it seems like a good weapon.
I really love to fly helicopters, though. I practice a lot, and am slowly mastering the art of not crashing while zealously chasing down a kill. I'm quite well-read, but the actual practice is taking time. I can barrel-roll and backflip my birds for tricks, and am getting a lot better at quickly 'perching' on top of buildings to show-off while looking for targets. I don't gun that well, so someone else shoot please, kthx. I'll more then happily fly. I'll also pilot any transport helicopter, if you're willing to hop in for the ride for whatever reason.
On the ground-side, I play Spec Ops kit almost exclusively. I like to constantly destroy artillery to help reduce casualties, and always get a kick out of destroying UAV trailers and satellite stations right under the nose of a camped commander, only to try to knife him/her when they go to wrench it. A good stealthed C4, followed by a knifed commander never gets old for me.
Anyhow, I found these forums via Google, and they seem to be the best source for information about BF2 around. Gamespy's forums came up, but they seem meh...i've found the Commander, Squad Leader, and Anti-armor guides particularly useful. Didn't know about there being actual sweet(er) spots for hitting armor until now. Thanks for having me. Seeya on the servers!
