Error on disk 3 instalation

Hey guys i just got a bran spanking new laptop and i am currently just geting it all configured and all my stuff installed. Its more than adequate to run Battlefield 2. I built this thing myself and decked it out with the e-gefoce 7600, gig of ram, 7200 rpm hardrive, dual core cpu the works.

When i am installing it i get to the third disk right about the beginning it pops up with this message:

FileError: D:\data4.cab 1117, Retry?

It keeps poping up untill i finally say no about 1000 times and then it says battlefield 2 failed to install.

WTF!!!!

Anybody out there that can please help me?

Next time do one thread instead of creating two with the same title moderators might get angry, anyways close this thread and check the other one in the support forum.
