are there any gamepads compatible with bf2

just wondered this as you obviously play on a gamepad on bf2 for the xbox so is there something similar for pc version.
would love to be able to fly but find it way too hard keyboard n mouse

Try a joy stick for flying or buy a pc pad...........

....or I have an adaptor from play.com which lets me use my PS2 pad on my pc, I did set it up for BF2 but don't use it as I'm so use to flying with the mouse and keyboard, it was like learning to fly again

You can use a wired xbox 360 controler with bf2, ive tryed using one and it works flawlessly.

I might be willing to buy that adapter from play for my PS2 pad as it would be cheaper than buying a stick.

Is it quite straight forward to set up?

Yeah in the key options there is an alternative button, click it with the mouse then press the button on the joy pad you want to use.

Then learn to fly

Excellent 'cos I can fly transport and that is it. lol

I will get that when I have some money to spend then I'll learn to fly when I should be doing college work.
