Dropped, CPU temp by 4 degrees, even through the new heat sink is like 3 times bigger, but i reckon i messed up the thermal grease trying to get the sod to clip on, you cannot see what you are doing :P If you think, OMG he just stuck the lights anywhere, yes that is what i did.
Considering i hate going inside my PC i don't think i done to bad, i have never broken anything inside my PC with my Massive cumbersome hands. Worst part was the rear case fans, the screws take forever to get in so tip of advice for those trying this in future, screw the screws in the fan first so it leaves a groove ready for when you screw it in when holding it in your case.

arctic cooling's products really aren't so much about better heat dissipation. they perform on-par with stock. the advantage of the ac is reduced noise. i went from a stock P4 3.0E preschott cooler to an ac ultra tc:

the temps dropped just a little, but my gosh--that ch-53 sea stallion i used to have in my desk is gone, and a little bird has taken it's place (noise speaking, anyway). Installing an ATI silencer 1 rev. 2 today:

and i was so happy with their other products that i ordered one of these for the exhaust, which turned out to be about the best $7.99 120mm fan on the market. It's quieter and moves as much air as my 14.99 vantec:

Oh, yeah--the prices are as good/better than neweggs when you factor in the cheap, convient USPS priority shipping. their return policy/procedures are also very good--i had lapped my first heatsink/fan combo they sent, applied the thermal grease, and then discovered that one of the clips was broken. i had a new one in my hands in less than a week; only had to pay shipping to return the first one.

As i said in the arctic silver 5 thread, i would stay clear of that cooler do to its weight, you don't want to break your mobo, i made some suggestions on what to get in that thread aswell.
The tuniq is a awesome cooler, but its size and weight are just to big. You don't need something that cools like that unless you plan on really increasing the voltage and o/cing like crazy, but still not worth the risk of damaging your mobo. Go for the xp-90, it is cheaper and pretty good at cooling, it is also light and is good for cooling some pretty big overclocks

the weight is only an issue when u move it!

If i move my machine downstairs the fan comes off. But my cooler is lovely and does its job brilliantly!
