Your choice, what size case do you have, it might be too big. So since you are looking into that, your probably gunna do some seriouse o/cing, like 2.9 with high voltages, because that would be the only time you would need something with that much cooling power for that high price.

That would probably fit, i just wouldn't reccomend trying to move your case from its position while it is on it.
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=96797 some people had big problems when installing, i am just trying to reccomend that it is an unnesary cooler and that an xp-120 or xp-90 would be fine as long you don't try going for a world record overclock, my xp-120 keeps my opty cool at 27c right now, and it is at 2.7ghz 1.33volts i believe.

Your signature (http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/2633/ddwi1.png) doesnt make sence, it is impossible for a fan to run negative RPM, since rpm stands for revolutions per minute i believe, wouldn't that mean if it did move in the other direction, it would still be making a psitive number of revolutions per minute.

I have found that putting some in a thin line and taking a old credit card/gift card and scraping it across. Nice smooth surface across. I dont know about just putting a dot in the middle and setting it down; you would think that dust would start to fill in on the sides blowing around there and than the heat will trap some of that dust.

it spreads out from the pressure of the hs. I have heard of spreading it when putting it on chipsets, though.
