Is it really that much better buying a Raptor than a normal 7200RPM hard drive ????

Lol, I'm up for some free beer, heinekin if possible.....but anyway, any seagate barracuda hd with perpendicular recording technology is just as fast as any 10K RPM hd out there.....may I suggest this one? It works wonders and it's MUCH cheaper than the 10K RPMs

Well I have the Raptor 74 gig 10rpm Sata drive and I love it. It is fast and although it is not my only HD I have nothing but good things to say about it.

No need to go for the 10,000 unless a few seconds less at max for loading is necessary, the seagate is a good choice

Its gonna be the only HD i will install so no others will conflict , it states it SATA 11 but Asus says nothing about SATA 11 when i check the site ?

Get two smaller drives so you can set up a RAID array. Your BF2 load times will be insanely fast. You will be the first guy on the map and can have your choice of vehicles.
