    computer people here

ok guys this is a liitle tough to explain. my friend is giving me a gigabyte agp mobo with a socket of 939 and the processor has to be a 64 bit. i want to put my processor into his mobo i have a socket 939 64 bit cpu already googled it. it is an amd athlon 64 3400 2.21 ghz is it possible for me to do this? do most motherboards have other compatitabilitys with different kinds of amds?

also the only reason why i am switching from pcie to agp because my friend is giving me a kickass card an ati x850xt PE 256mb superclocked:)

By doing this you are jumping backwards from new technology to old knowing that your ram may not be compatable with the new board and by the way you can buy an x850xt for 90$ pci-E, so i dont see any reason why you should go back to AGP unless you have an older pc with AGP.

It is a decent card but I told u that u can buy brand new one for 90$ PCI-E. it can play games really well but dont expect to play crysis in high :p. Perhaps u can tell ur friend to lower the price since you found a better deal in newegg.J/K
