NEED HELP ASAP!!!!!! video setting!!!

here's my problem:

i jjust got the geforce 6800xt card, installed the latest driver
updated patch for BF2,
everytime when i set the video setting to med/high, it sometime just wont optimize the best performance and some graphic r not even on med or high (it is on low)

so i just wondering how can i fix this? or it is just the problems with the grapgic card driver or the BF2 patch problems?

Go to "My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache" and delete all folders in the cache folder.

i just deleted all the cache files in that folder, but still doesnt change anything...any suggestions?????

I've just got to ask you...are you sure you are clicking "apply" after you make the changes in the game?

'cuz it sounds like you're just making the changes, and then hitting escape out of the menu.

which...doesn't change anything.

Try going into your BF2 folder in my documents. Find the default profile video.CON and maually change the values there.

try setting it at default medium or default high (overall video settings..not custom)...dunno i feel like i had this prob where i set some of my video settings to med/low and it showed me all low no matter wat so i just set the default values and it worked and then i could change my settings from there
