Asus P5B Deluxe New Bios 7950GX2 ?????????????????

Guys i need a quick bit of help on this..


I have updated my Bios to the new version

The update states the following

0507 2006/08/11 update



Description P5B Deluxe Release BIOS version 0507
1. Support Conroe CPU ratio adjustment
2. Fix some DDR 800 frequency will show DDR 533
3. Enhance performance when using NVDIA 7950GX2 VGA card
4. Fix fail to read files from some ODDs
5. Fix "Hit 'DEL' message display" item function fail
6. Support Max FSB from 500 MHz to 650 MHz

The update has aslo sorted out all my new RAm timings for my

Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB)

Does this mean i can now run a 7950GX2 on this MOBO although it is not SLI configured ?

but if the bios says it fixed issues with 7950 im sure you can. you can try calling them and asking...

I think so, some people over @ Xs are having a similar problem.

Just flash to the latest.
