hey guys wassup, yea its me again i finally got the radeon x800gto it runs bf2 on med with some high and it looks great! But even though i have good ping in servers. i get lots of lag ALOT OF LAG! i mean i can barely walk up to a wall the lag is so bad.Someone suggested to me to get a memory stick DDR im willing to pay to get it, but will it help??? will it help load the game? It takes me about 10 minutes to just get in a game! and will the game finnally stop lagging for me??? also, if i play in a server for about 20 minutes the game exits and returns me back to desktop. and a message comes up from my task bar it says not enough virtual memory to support the card meaning the RAM right? So i should get the 1gb DDR stick of RAM and that should solve all my problems? please reply as quick as possible thank you.

Re: x800gto memory problem
Yup. Need more memory. That gto won't push everything on high, but you should be able to cut down the lag with more ram. Get the fastest ram that your CPU/mobo can utilize.
Other things to try:
defrag your hard drive
close all running programs (taskbar) and processes running under your login (ctrl-alt-del)
virus scan/spyware scan
check your ping to make sure you have a fast connection/ and low latency times. Wouldn't do any good to throw another gig of ram in if you're accessing the 'net via satellite.
Also, check out the bf2 tweak guide and www.tweakguides.com It will tell you which video options are the most demanding regarding memory. You could probably get away with less lag by dropping a few settings to low.
