NEC DVD Drive can't recognize BF2!

My NEC 3550A doesn't recognize the disc inserted! It does recognize others, but not BF2.
    I've updated my firmware.
I know it might be Nforce4 related (DFI Lanparty UT Nf4 ultra d ), so I unintalled the IDE SW driver... Still it does not recognize it!!
At Tuesday I tried all day long to eject the drive and insert it, but nothing happened. I shut down my computer, and the day after it did recognized it.

    Today, again, I can't play.

    Please help me!

/edit: The next ones are the Nforce4 drivers left:
Ethernet Driver Components (what is it anyway, should I remove it?)
    nForce PCI System Management Driver

It could be disk issue or a drive issue. Do you have (or have access to) a regular dvd-rom drive to try?

Ethernet Driver Components (what is it anyway, should I remove it?)
That would depend. Do you use the onboard ethernet or do you connect via usb? If you use an ethernet connection, removing those will render or connection inoperative.

Well, I managed to fix it (I asked in 4 different forums except for this one).
If you guys have this problem too, go to gamecopyworld.com and download the "Image Fix #3", mount it with Daemon Tools and you are good to go. PB doesn't kick for this, cause it doesn't change / modify any of your original files.

You know, after reading 5-6 guides, I managed to fix ALL of my problems with BF2! Hurray! :yay:
That includes 7-8 acts of editing, using console and other things. Really complicated. I'll write a guide soon (I think).

      Thanks anyway.
