Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi Compatability

Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi is it compatable with a 7950 GFX ,,, My 7900GTX runs fine but .

I have checked the Nvidia site but it does not list it ??


Any ideas ?

You must be talking about the 7950GX2. Right now, the new Asus mobo's (P5B/P5B Deluxe/P5W DH Deluxe) don't support the dual card technology in the 7950GX2, so your mobo will recognise it as a single card and it won't unleash it's full potential, your better off with an 1800XT/1900XT, but your 7900GT is fine, no?
IMO, it's not really worth buying a 7950GX2, because the new DX10 cards are due within months, and the 7950 is Nvidia's way to make a fast buck before everyone jumps on the DX10 gpu wagon. Just stick with your 7900GT for a couple of months until the DX10 cards come out, and then go shopping for a new card then....

Just thought i would ask as i have the chance of one for £250 sterling , could get more or less that back for my 7900GTX .
