calling all ati x850xt or x850 users
hi guys just wondering if anyone with a ati radeon x850xt or x850 could show me a screenshot. im thinking of buying one and wanted to see what the graphics look like thanks!!

Screenshots without the fps counter in the upper left corner are meaningless. You can take an absolutely beautiful screenie with a 5200...at 0.04 fps.
If you've got a pci-e, then x850xt is the leader in price/performance at the moment, imho. Newegg routinely has open box models for ~$120. You just can't (hardly) beat that core/memory clockspeed, 16 pipelines, a 256-bit interface, and 256mb gddr3 for less than another c-note. Sure, SM3 (HDR) is nice, but THEN you've got to shell out ANOTHER $50-100 (~$300) to get a card that will support the architecture AND let you run with a decent fps (thinking x1800 at MINIMUM, preferably a 7900gt or an x1900xt).
Get the x850xt or -xt pe for less than $140 and don't look back. 7600gt wouldn't be a bad choice, either, in about that price range.
But you need either an Arctic cooler ATI silencer (good price, not reusable) or a Zalman vf900 (re-usable on your next gpu) to get a nice overclock and to quiet the horrible noise from ATI's stock fan. Personally, I LIKE the vf900 better, but I got the arctic cooler because it exhausts the hot air out the back, rather than just dissipates it around the card...and also becuase they have a very good CPU cooler that I am very happy with (arctic cooler super silencer 4 ultra tc)
