    System upgrade!

Ok I'm planning on in a month or two or so to buy (some) part(s) for my system.

Currently I'm forced to play on low.. With this:

Intel VIIV 2.8 GHZ ( 1 Physical Processor or something and 2 Logical Processors)
    Nvidia Geforce 7300LE (It's PCI-E)

    For the rest I got:
    2GIG of ram
    Samsung Syncmaster 920N
and something I didn't noticed and liked but nothing to change about well a VGA/DVI Cable or something is that it

    Motherboard:
Supported Slot Types ISA, PCI, AGP, PCI Express

    But..
My question was what should I buy when improving my system for upcoming games?

Shall I upgrade now or wait for Vista and when other cards come out or is that not smart?

    Thanks, Jason

(Next time I'm going to build my own rig :) )

    Re: System upgrade!

If you have the patience wait untill Vista, DX10 & Quad core CPU's come out at the beginning of next year.

All you really need is a better graphics card.

If you're budget conscious, get an x850xt:

      or an open box, like:

(I actually like the HIS card a little better--had a 9600xt that lasted four years in my little brother's pc, doghair-clogged fans and all).

If you've got the cash hanging around, go with the 7900gt:

or, for a little more, an x1900xt (but I'd wait until vista/dx10 cards start shipping for this one--hopefully to catch a sweet deal). For reference only, don't buy this one :)
