Choices, choices. I can't decide on a gpu for my new rig I'm ordering and it's tearing me apart...I hear the 7950 has driver problems but I just read that the beta drivers work just fine with it...there's not really any diff. between the 1900xt/xtx and i hear the xt can be OC'ed past the xtx....your thoughts? :hmm:

why not just save ur money till the DX10 cards come out, then put that son of a ***** in ur new rig? If you dont want to wait, if i were you i would go for the 7950gx2 just like Consultant01 said, they are going to come out with new and better drivers anyway.

Re: 7950gx2 vs 1900xt vs 1900xtx...help
I'm an ATI fan too, games have been much better when i switched over to ATI, I was just wondering if the 7950gx2 was worth it, but since DX10 cards are coming out within a few months, I guess the 1900XT should do the job till then, thx consultant....plz close
edit:I don't want to wait, but with DX10's coming out in mere months I think the X1900XT should do the job until I start shopping for a DX10 gpu

Re: 7950gx2 vs 1900xt vs 1900xtx...help
I baught a 7950gx2 close to when they first came out. Was a tiny bit dodgey at first (as in, inconsistent, worked quicker sometimes than others for no reason). But with new drivers it works fine with me now.
No problems at all
But as someone says, DX10 will be out in then nearish future. On that subject, dont mean to hijack the thread, but i got a question bout that!
If the 7950gx2 is built to support windows vista (it says so on the box), and windows vista will use dx10 (i believe), then does that mean the 7950gx2 will support dx10? I can see why it wouldnt, but I'm just being logical!
