  • $18,000 Video Card

As if PC gaming wasn't expensive enough, Nvidia have unveiled a graphics card that will be known to shooter fans simply as 'God'. The $18K Quadro Plex 1000. How's your e-penis now?

"According to Nvidia, a node can achieve up to 64x full scene anti-aliasing (FSAA), deliver a performance of up to 148 megapixels on 16 synchronized digital-output channels and eight HD SDI channels. The firm says that the fill rate reaches 80 billion pixels/s while the geometry performance is rated at seven billion vertices/s."

hey man that wouldn't be too powerful with games, it's a rendering card just like the other Quadro cards out there that are 4K+, Also 32x AA is almost useless, most monitors don't even have pixels that small i see one stair step per pixel at SLI16xS

                  From the linked article..........

"The only problem with owning one of these cards is you'd need about 20 of the latest CPUs in order to feed it data quick enough that the CPU wouldn't become a massive bottleneck."

                              IT'S A QUADRO. It's for buisness use.

Anyway, you might get 500FPS in Battlefield 2, but who needs that many framerates?
