compressed air?

is there any way special way to blow out dust with compresses i dont feel like damaging my system i recently looked through my panel window and i have dust all over th ****in place!!! especially on my cpu fan does it decrease my performance or what?

amd athlon 64 3400+2.2ghz
1.5 gigs of ram

Point and spray, fairly simple. Its compressed air not a sandblaster. :)

Just don't turn it upside down or sideways so that liquid sprays out instead of air.

Try and hold the can as upright as possible.

Also use a pencil or something to stop the fans from spinning. They can get damaged from the high rpm's that the spraying can cause.

i simply get a small hand pump. and keep pumping with my left hand and aiming the nozzle with my right hand. cheap and effective but tiring though.

Compressed air is just fine, like others said, hold it stright and not upside down.....it's simple, just point and spray.....this is good because dust conducts heat and if you don't clean your comp every now and then, the dust accumulates and performance decreases..

Yeah, the area around my computer is usually pretty dusty. Those cans of compressed air are a life saver (my computers life, that is). Once again, just to be a broken record, hold it as straight as you can, and don't shake it, or spray for longer than a couple seconds because it'll get really really cold. Once I sprayed one for about ten or fifteen seconds. It became too cold to comfortably hang on to.

If you have to get the underside of a card or something, but don't want to take it out of the system to clean it, put the little extention tube in the nozzle of the can and just bend that up under whatever you're cleaning. If you ask me, the extentions should be like those flexible tubes. That'd come in quite handy.

since i have a pimp ur ride workshop i would not use anything more than 60 psi as 80-100 would start to strip parts off
