The X800GTO is better. By the way, does this mean that you'll stop posting anyway.

Honestly, how many times do I have to show you benchmarks?? And how many threads do you need? I swear I thought I already showed you how the x800gto is far, far ahead of the 6800xt...

              The x800gto he's looking at is $125

edit: my bad, it looks like the price is up. I'm not finding any AGP x850xt's on newegg, where did you see the deal for it at $150?

Both of which are PCIexpress, which he can't use. He has to get an AGP card.

                            Re: radeon vs. nvidia

You have to do driver updates from the website with ALL graphics cards... the ones on the CD are almost always outdated. I have not heard of the x800gto crashing any more than any other card. And it looks like it DOES have a temp monitor... http://www.overclock.net/ati-cooling...800-gto-3.html

And sniper, PCIe cards are usually cheaper than AGP cards. You can get a new, retail PCIe x850xt at newegg for $105

ROFL. YOu have to do updates on a website? Hmmm...well if that's the case don't both getting a video card. I think one of the ones that came out before the creation of the Internet might work, they couldn't give you driver updates back then. And no, the 6800XT is not a better deal in any way, shape, form, dimension, plane, element, etc etc. JUST BUY THE X800GTO and leave us alone...I think I speak for everyone.
