USB Headset Help!

i just got this headset from newegg

it has a usb connecter and one for speakers and one for microphone. i cant use the one for speakers, because my brother broke my old headset and the connecter broke off inside the speakers hole. wioth my old usb headset, i would just plug it into a usb outlet and it would work, but iv tried all sorts of things with this one, but i cant get it to work. i have tried it in several usb ports, and i still cant get it to work. i have tried restarting the comp, but still nothing. HELP!!

From what I can see looking here,

the USb connection is only for the lights and force-feedback, it looks like you need to plug the rest into your sound card (either onboard or a PCI card).

Yes, you still need to connect the mini-stereo adapter in as that is the connector that actually transmits the audio. The USB connector is simply for power.

Looks like you're going to have to dig out that broken piece.

yep i just found that out from looking at their site
im sending it back now.
plus, there is no possiable way to get it out, my dad and i kinda destroyed that hole trying to get it
o well, off to best buy!
