New sound card and 7.1 speakers

Ok guys so i've decided that i'm going to take those warranty stickers off .

Now i'm going to get a new sound card and 7.1 surround sound speakers, I have a budget of around £177 (187 at the most).

I'm thinking about getting an X-Fi Fatal1ty sound card for £123 and a Creative Inspire T7900 for £64.

Are these good choices?

unless you want the breakout box in the front for som uses that you might have, you might want to just by the extreme music edition, and save some money
