massive HELP!!!!!!

ok herer we go i need some serious tecky. i just bought the battlefield 2 special forces. problem is this i installed it and then it did it's little patch work thing and when i start the game i get the following error message
ERROR!!!
mods/bf2/shaders.lightning.fx not found!!!!!
_DO_ check your working directory _AND_ sync your shaders folder before calling your local rendering programmer/GP (really!)

any one care to tell me what the heck this means?????? if you need to i can give you either my yahoo id or my msn id to help me figure this out. all help would be greatful

I am going to guess you used the incretmental patch instead of the full patch.

Uninstall BF2, then patch it using the full patch and not the incremental. Any more help needed, add me mcarda[at]gmail.com to MSN.

use the search. its a very common problem. lots of threads about your same problem.

Install BF2 -> Install BF2:SF -> Execute the full patch which is about 428 mb in size...
