hey guys im getting a radeon x800 gto but i heard it overheats, so i was think about getting a new cooling fan wat do u guys think??? should i????? send links if possible

If you have at least one fan pulling fresh air in the front, and two fans (PSU + case exhaust) pushing hot air out the back, and your case temps are fine now, then all you need is one of these if you are concerned about gpu heat:

iv'e got the x800xt AIW, and stock cooling was adequate (no more than 78C when it's clean), but it's also:

1) LOUD

2) hard to keep clean because some of the "intake" ports that suck air in across the ram are facing towards the mobo

3) did I mention LOUD?

The zalman provides much better cooling (especially after I used a holesaw to drill a 60mm hole though my desk and case to pull hot air off the gpu, and stuck an undervolted vantec stealth 60mm fan in the case near the card:) ), was pretty easy to install, and it's oh-so-quiet. Plus, you get ram sinks, so you can push the mem speed up a little (which gives you much better bang per clock-cycle than pushing the core speed)

78C is still very hot...(my comp consideres it self overheat at like 125+ (fahrenheit) and sometimes it crashes to prevent damage from the heat
