Graphics card

I'm going to be getting a new computer.. this is some of the specs..

Pentium D proc w/dual core tech.. 3.2 ghz 800 fsb
2 gb of ram

Now the graphics card is a 512mb ATI Radeon x1900 xtx is this a good card, I had never heard of it?.

Yes, its a great card. Have you ever thought of going to www.google.com and typing "X1900 review" in? It works wonders.

Dude quit being a ****.. if you don't have anything good to say stfu please.. I was asking cause people on this board play BF2 usually, and I was wondering their opinion, especially the ones who may have it..

You didnt ask the opinion of people who own that card, you said you wanted to buy one but you had never heard of it. I would advise anyone buying a graphics card for that sort of $$$ to do some researching first. Independant and thorough reviews on an item will be just as good, if not better than someone's opinion on a forum.

hahahah what are you getting so upset over? It was a simple suggestion, and a good one at that. Most hardware review sites know their stuff and what they're talking about on their reviews. Alot of people on forums have biased opinions, and give info on things they dont know anything about. I'd go to google first and here second.

Thats right, I've seen posts here by some idiots saying cards like the 6200 and FX5700 are fine for playing BF2 as recommendations to other users wanting to buy a graphics card, and quite clearly they are not.

x1900XTX has best AA(Anti-Alisating) setting....unbeatable quality.

if u want peformance u might wanna get GeForce 7900 XTX...or even 7950 X2 if u rich :P
