Yo guys, today I replaced my old 15" CRT with a 19" widescreen LCD, but now BF2 crashes everytime to desktop after I start it? I've changed the settings in my profiles but nothing seem to work; do I have to re-install the whole thing or what is the problem?
Anybody who got an answer?
Thanx in advance..

You can also just go to my documents>battlefield 2>profile>0001>video.con and open with notepad, just edit this line-
VideoSettings.setResolution 1280x1024@100Hz
to this-
VideoSettings.setResolution 800x600@60Hz

Easy
Well I tried this first (changed 1024x768@85hz to 1024x768@60hz) but that didn't work.. I guess it has to be 800x600@60hz
I have just replaced my 19" CRT with a 22" widescreen and whenever I launched BF2 the screen would go black as if attempting to load, then take me back to the desktop. I removed the BF2 folder in My Documents folder, and had the game rebuild it. This worked! Had to reset controls, graphic settings ect. Loading multiplayer games was much faster after also.
Delete your video cache. The cache is in the "My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\BF2\cache" and also in each directory you have under "mods". The cache is what is created when your video is optimized. The directories inside of the cache directory should be deleted. Then when you restart BF2 and join a map, your system will reoptimize the video.
