    Saitek Cyborg Gold (USB)

Anyone have this joystick? If so how is it? I've seen many people with the Cyborg EVOS and I'm not sure if it's the same thing (bought it off eBay). It seems like a nice joystick, many many buttons. THis will be my first time using a joystick for flying planes, I'm excited!

I have the Saitek Cyborg EVO also. It is a USB joystick and has more than 8 buttons.

It is a very good joystick. One thing, the bottom spring gets a little weak once it's broken in and you need to center it before jumping into a jet, particularly the F35.

I am a former trucker and I break weak stuff because they are made of crappy plastic. So far the EVO has not broken yet after 50 hours in the jet. When I replace it, it will be with another EVO if I can find one.

Cool thanks for the advice, a trucker huh? My best friend has a Kenworth...something, it's really fast for a truck. It's all custom (It's a dumptruck by the way), polished up, Xenon headlightsw projectors, nice straight exhaust. He brings it to truck shows and wins.

Dumpies are pretty fast if set up right. I once had a super 500 Mack that was converted to dump duty but still kept it's double underdrive 13 transmission. We used to race it empty over certain hills off road with another truck. Something you will NEVER see anywhere but private property =) The other truck had a shift rear in addition to it's roadranger 10 for a total of 15 forward speeds. The races we had were pretty much decided by who had the biggest balls to get over the steepest terrain without rolling.

Dont use the included drivers on the EVO, I found that windows and BF2 recognizes the joystick just fine.
