This week is allegedly the week that Conroe is released, isn't it?

It's also the week that AMD is supposed to drop prices.

All you who are like me and waited to upgrade for these changes in the market, have an exciting week trolling around for the best prices.

Post helpful links here for lower prices on AMD and locations of Core 2 Duo's for sale.

This is not the place for fanboys to come flaming around so save it.




AMD Prices on the decline, Intel speeds on the incline, reasonably priced CPU's on the cheap all over... it's a good day to be a home-grown PC builder.

In the UK Conroe isnt released untill around the 24th - 26th July 2006.

The AMD price-drop has already started, AM2 prices are 20% lower than 3 weeks ago. In the UK anyway.

still some of the conroe boards are somewhat pricy.. £120 =/ hope they drop too

i jus hope am2 comes out in my country sooner. and i havent seen a single trace of conroe here. am2 is still scarce here. sigh...
