The Zboard comes with a plastic wrist rest that breaks easily, so don't drop it! (Like what my parents did to mine.)

It comes with a standard keyset and a generic game keyset; the game keyset can be set in the program provided. If you buy a specific game keyset, like the Battlefield 2 or WOW keyset it'll automatically recognize it and you won't have to play with the setting. However, I found it to take a month to learn where the keys are if you the generic game keyset.

The other downside for me is on the standard keyset the space bar is split in half so sometimes pressing the space bar just doesn’t move in far enough to recognize the key press.

Another small problem, if you put the keyset in wrong the little rubber things that recognize the keys that are pressed get stuck inside the board and you’ll have to remove the keyset and adjust the rubber thing. (Very easy to fix so not that big of a problem.)

I use the keyboard with the 'included gameset'
it has built in codes (not macros - but key assigments) which I HATE
so, I remapped all keys that made sense for me
the trick weas to open the console in game, depress every key
and see what the game 'thought was being sent
eg, "[" or "]" or ";" or "alpha character" whatever
why do I use the Zboard? fatter keys :)

i have a zboard and the BF2 keyset...

IMHO a waste of money... I simply use my ol' 101 keyboard 99.9% of the time anyway...

Zboards are cool, but how do you type while in game?

How about that Wolve keyboard? The one with the WSAD arrows on the left side?? Seems much better then a ZBoard because it allows typing.

Personally I use a Nostromo. It's got enough keys, programmable and I can move it when it's not being used. But I think these are pretty cool if you have the desktop room.

When i used someones zboard, it felt kinda flimsy, and i dont really care for keypads, ill just stick with wasd.sooo.... LOGITECH G15 FTW !!

Did you install the lastest software from their web site and run the key set update (via Zboards software) ?
