X-FI Mode Changer

For those of us who have a X-FI Soundcard there is a nice little program called X-FI Mode changer which makes the switch to game mode automatic if you start a game.

Here is a screenshot of it:

constantly changing the xfi mode causes some problems with bf2 recognising the sound option 'creative xfi'. i dont recommend changing it constantly.

it changes only if I open BF2.exe. It is not changing constantly.

I use it about 2 month now and had not one problem with it.

I just installed the Creative Sound Blaster Live! 24-Bit card, but when I choose "Creative X-FI" as my sound device while in the game, it tells me my software is not compatible. Will using this program solve that or do I need to fix something else?

...X-Fi means, X-Fi sound card and not SB Live! sound card. I think you can use the EAX option by selecting hardware, but not X-Fi!

The mode changer gave me some problems on boot where it kept trying to change modes on me and opening the console, which if you read the read me is a big no no.
