How much would this system sell for?

I want to sell my brother's system and buy a new one. It is currently:

Intel Pentihum 4 3.0G dual core
an Intel AGP motherboard( not sure which model)
    512 mb RAM DDR
    FX 5200 256mb AGP 8x
    DVD+CD reader/CD writer
    Floppy drive 1.44mb
    40 GB hard drive
    220 watt PSU

How much would this get me? Im hoping for at least 300 dollars. It would help me if you could also tell me how much each individual thing would cost. thnx in advance.

PS - it is about 10 months old

    Also how much would a P 4 2.4 Ghz and a Geforce 6600 256mb sell for

Depends where you are planning to sell it. Some custom builders might pay you something like 250$ for the parts...the video card isn't worth much...I don't know too much about selling...it varies too much.

I buy off ebay alot, so I'll give you some highly subjective values of what my max bid would be--

      Intel Pentihum 4 3.0G dual core--$130, here's a link to a current auction
      http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Intel-775-Pe...QQcmdZViewItem

an Intel AGP motherboard( not sure which model)--then I'm not sure what folks would pay for it
      512 mb RAM DDR--$20
      FX 5200 256mb AGP 8x--$15
      DVD+CD reader/CD writer--$20
      Floppy drive 1.44mb--$0
      40 GB hard drive--$20
220 watt PSU--$0, unless it is specifically designed for a SFF pc, and then still $0 if it is only compatible with a single model.

If you sold the whole system together, you could probably get $300 for it. Just put it on Ebay with a reserve price, and advertise the reserve in the description.

      Also how much would a P 4 2.4 Ghz--$40 with the heat sink/fan

and a Geforce 6600 256mb sell for--agp? $50-$80 depending on whether or not there are any letters beside "6600"; $30 if it's PCI-E.

watch out for those PSU's that come with cases, sometimes they are pretty cheap and unreliable. Of course, unless its an Antec or something...

Exactly. Also, the generics have poor acoustics, so you always feel like you're sitting beside a jet engine. I'd sell it for as much as you can get, and then buy a +450W Antec, Thermaltake, Seasonic, or other decent brand. Look for dual 12V rails, and if your budget allows, modular cabling. That way, you only have to plug in the cables you're actually using.
