    Temps?

    Couple of questions on temperatures

    - What is to hot for a 7800GT (It was about 60 earlier)
    - What is to hot for a AMD64 3700+ Sandiego Core (It was at around 42-44 earlier)
-What is to hot for a ASUS A8N-E (It was around 42-44 earlier)

All of that is in Celcius.

    Re: Temps?

    1) Thats an OK temperature. Too hot would be like 90 C
    2) Little warm for my tastes but not bad, do you have it overclocked?
    3) I don't know

All temp seem fine to me. They could be a little lower, what case fans do you have?

Doesnt sound bad, my 7800's run above 60 when under load. Depending on how long you've had the computer it might be worth getting a tin of air and cleaning the heatsinks, can shave a few degrees off but i dont think you have much to worry about.
You can turn your pc into a wind tunnel with uprated fans or add watercooling if you'd like lower temps but its not really worth the hassle, those temps are fine.

                Re: Temps?

Idle my 7800GT runs at 46C.

Under load it will hover in the low 60's.

My Thermaltake Armour has a ton of open air around the Vcard because there was so much room for wire management. The forward 120 fan runs right in front at the height of the Vcard, and the rear 120 is just above it.

Normally the HD is mounted in a cage just behind the foward 120. But I removed removed that cage, and installed my HD in a bay above the foward 120, but added a face plate cooler (had to drill and tap a few extra holes for it to work right). This way the foward 120 draws air straight into the case, with no obstuctions.

I don't even use anything but stock cooling on the the CPU. Everything seems to be fine as is.
