account server refuses connection

i am on a network with one other computer that has bf2 on it, starting last night, every time either of us tries to log into the account server, it says "the server has refused the connection" and it returns to the loggin screen. i tried a friends username that i have saved on my comp and i got the same message. it appears that the ip of our network has been blocked or something. i know ips can be blocked by punkbuster, but i never cheated and i never got any e-mail saying that my ip had been blocked which i would expect. has this ever happened to any of you and were you able to fix it or did it just come back? as it is, no bf2 for me. im starting to have withdrawl problems and i need my fix, please help me out.


oh yeah, and i tried to get to the support page on ea's website, but the "opperation timed out" so i can't ask them a question or even look at the faq's

Reboot DSL or cable modem and try again.

Hey, this happened to me too yesterday. Playing for about 8 monyhs now, it's the first time this happened.
Any help?

look at the monitor icon on the bottoom right of your screen [on the quick task bar] it should show speed signal strength and status on sttus it should say connected if not click the icon click on the tab support and click on repair
