Widescreen or Regular?

    Widescreen or Regular?

    ive never had widescreen...they seem to be cheaper than the regulars...anyone have a widescreen? Or does anyone know someone that does or just state your Opinion :)

    "Think about this:

    19" 4:3 1280*1024 = 1310720 pixels
    19" 16:10 1440*900 = 1296000 pixels

    As you can see, the 4:3 monitor actually has more pixels, and DEFINITELY a bigger screen, at the same price. When you put them side by side it's a pretty easy decision."

        well I prefer non-widescreen, but thats just me..

        widescreen is exactly as it sounds... it's screen is just wider compared to it's height - if you think you'd like it then go for it

          1280x1024 is 5:4, not 4:3... But as far as getting widescreen, I suppose it would depend on what games you play. Some do not support widescreen resolutions, so you have to use a 4:3 resolution that will look stretched on a widescreen. BF2 needs some lines aded to the shortcut to give it a widescreen resolution, and I think quite a few people are satisfied with that fix. But in the games that do support widescreen do seem a lot more cinematic.
