    Psu Replacement ?

    Guys

    Tomorrow i am recieveing my new 7900GTX and a Tagan TG580-U22 580W ATX2.01 2Force SLi Compliant Silent PSU (CA-006-TG)

    To replace this one .

Tagan TG480-U22 480W ATX2.01 2Force SLi Ready PSU as i will not have enough power .

Having had my current rig near enough bought off the shelf i have never fiddled with the wires in the box , since the above PSU are identical how difficult is it to exchange them over .

    Thx guys

Should i just hold up both PSU and chnge each wore in turn ?

Should be fairly simple. Changing PSU's is really easy, just make sure you know what connectors to put where - consult your manuals for both M/B and the new PSU, and all should be well =)

Get that digital camera out and take a "before" picture. Then make sure your "after" picture looks the same. There are some finer points--like putting hd's, and opticals, and fans on the same output, but you ought to be fine.
