i have a dell demension desktop, the only upgrade i have is a geforce FX5500 graphics card. i can run counter strike source, call of duty 2, and day of defeat source with no choppyness at all but when i run battlefield 2 (all low setting view distance scale 100%) it still chopps really bad. is there something that im not doing? what do you guys think the problem is?

That could well be the reason for the choppiness, as BF2 is a well known RAM hog. If you can, upgrade this to at least 1GB.Comment

Buy a Geforce 6200 PCI on newegg, it's like $25 and you will be able to run BF2 medium low (provided you have 1GB RAM) I don't know how people got BF2 to work with all medium.
Don't believe some of the bad reviews, it's a wonderful card. Memory will OC 100Mhz very stable for me.
