Hi,
Ii have recently purchased an Evesham Nemesis SLI laptop running 2 x Nvidia GO7900 GS graphics cards, both with 256 MB memory. The system has 1GB DDR ram running at 333mhz and a 2.4 AMD turion processor.
I'm connected through to the internet via a Belkin GPLUS MIMO router model no.F5D9230-4.
I've installed BF2 and updated it to version 1.3 (in one go, not incrementally) which I'm told is the latest version. But whenever I try to start the game the logo screen comes up and it then crashes back to the desktop. It did this with the retail version out of the box as well. (ie ver 1.0).
I've tried updating my graphic card drivers but have been told by windows that my drivers are up to date.
One other thing that I thought could have been the cause was that the screen on my laptop was running at 59hz and that BF2 needed at least 60hz to run. I have now added a new setting to my desktop with some third party software to get it running at 60hz but this still doesn't fix the issue.
Can anyone help me?
Thankyou.
