When DX10 cards come out that will mean DX10 games will come out , do you need a DX10 card to play them?

How much ram should i get if i want to play bf2 , quakewars , etc. on high?

Should i wait to get a DX10 card or should i go SLI 7600GT or possibly SLI 7900GT when DX10 cards come out , assuming prices will be lower.

Also , wat are the difference with fan types like , 2 ball , 1 ball , etc. the case i want has 2 ball (atleast thats wat a reviewer said) does it matter if i get a different kind?

Should i buy a new Fan / Heatsink for my CPU (i will not overclock , most likley)

With monitors i was think about getting a 19" LCD 2ms. Was wondering how does the lower ms come into play or do i want higher ms....for gaming i mean.

Instead of LCD should i just go with CRT or is there a big difference , gaming wise.

Get a 7600GT now, wait for DX10 and games which support it, then get a DX10 card

You want lower ms, it basicaly means it is faster, 2ms is good

Thanks :) those cards are coming out in late fall early winter right? in that case i wont upgrade till feb or march :) nice too since my birthday :)

I agree with everything he posted except for the DX10 card. You will not need a DX10 card to play something like Crysis which is DX10 based. You could run X1900XT's or 7900GTX's in crossfire/SLi and still get playable frame rates but without all the eye candy. IMO I would go with X1900XT's in crossfire if not planning to upgrade your GPU when DX10 comes out. The 7900series has a lot of problems and bugs.

ya..thats good because i was thinking 7600 GT SLI until next christmas (the one after this one) but i guess after the release of the DX10 cards the prices of higher end cards will go down...or atleast by Feb...

BTW : wats crossfire and sli difference? ones ati and other nVidia?
