Total = 1020...You could get another gig of Ram for about 1100 but i think that would be a little bit overkill at the moment..Or you could ditch the sound card and change the mobo and you could get SLi 7900GT

Does anyone wanna challenge my 1337 skills?

Nice Setup, that's a pretty 1337 rig. Maybe buy a ATI x1900xt. Better than nvidia.(NO FANBOYS!)

Looks good, but I'd change the GPU to an x1900xt that is $326 after rebates right now at NewEgg.

Also, this list is useless until AFTER Conroe comes out, in which the prices linked will no longer be the same, but in fact much lower :)

thats a nice set up, but dont forget that the shipping may eat like 60$ from the budget.

Save your self a hundred bucks (fill out the rebate), and get this processor (not quite as good--but that hundred bucks will go farther on a gpu, or outright BUY a nice sound card with external outputs):

I'd have to agree... no where near the best CPU, nowadays that may even be considerd low-end for gaming

                          But still its good enough

its a 7900GT!?!? The only thing better is the X1900XTX ( Not a hundred dollars range ) and the 7900GTX ( Also not in Hundred Dollars Range ) And also the 7950x2 or whatever...But thats not even worth it because there are a limited number of mobos for it + there are numerous problems with it..

Or just buy the 3700+ instead of the 3800+, still very good, and a bit more inexpensive, and you can put your savings into an OS.
