bf2 locks up my whole PC

anyone ever have this problem?
all the sudden when i join a server, the game locks my whole pc up.
I tried everything i can think of from reinstalling the game with full patch to updating drivers and i still lock up.

any suggestions?

look down through all the suppost threads, alot of people having same issues. some regarding punk buster, 1.3 etc etc..

Happens to me 2. Only now and again. Is this the case for you or does it lock up everytime?

All you can do is wait for 1.4 and hope the devs do their job and fix it.

It happens to my dad everytime he has his video setings turned up too high, so try turning them down and it may solve it, but i dont know

it happens every time
when i do join a server, ill play for like 3 minutes then i lock up
