                  Re: Pci?

We can set him up good for $700 since he can reuse his hard drive and opticals...and assuming he can get a copy of Windows XP from someone.

If there is one thing I can do, it's build a budget comp by avoiding wasteful crap like overpriced ram, oversized HD's, excessive CPU's/GPU's etc.

Get your cash together and post again when you're ready.

I can't really think of any games coming this year other than Crysis, that would be any different than what is out now as far as hardware requirements.

i have the same card as u steph, but ppl tell me that my computer also has an agp slot. i just ordered this card today

actually, im 15 also, so i know how hard it is to get money. cant get a job anywhere, cause even tho i am old enough, there r plenty of ppl older than me looking for jobs that the stores would rather imploy.

Took about 10 seconds on HP's site to find that.

Excellent. Simply inform the parental units that the AGP slotted computer has been...appropriated.

Now tell us what that comp is and we'll work from there. Of course the whole new comp idea would smoke whatever it is downstairs...but be quite a bit more money.

Find the specs of the AGP comp...
