Sorry for re-posting this, but it appears that people with rigs somewhat similar to mine are saying they have FPS issues.

How should BF2 run on this rig?


AMD Athlon 3700+
ASUS 6600 TD 128 MB
2 GB DDR400 RAM
Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS


I know my graphics card is not the greatest, but it beats the hell out of the requirements.

Oh, and don't worry about the 128 MB of memory in the GFX card. The RAM makes up for that. :)

Not a chance. I couldn't play it on max with the following:

AMD 64 3700+
1 GB Matched GEIL RAM
7800GTX XXX Extreme

thats just because of your RAM with 2GB you probably could have gotten pretty close to maxed out

Guess I'll have to see for myself how my PC should play. With the bonus of recent reformat and defragging, this should run even better.

Can't wait to go home. I'm in Egypt right now and it SUCKS.

yea better gfx card like a 7800 will get you on high.

Oc that processer to 2.8 and you will.
