What Speakerset?

I've sell alot of stuff lately and I just came into some money...

Now, 2/3 of all the money (about 1200 euro's, or about 1,500 USD) I saved the new generation of pc hardware.... (Conroe, DX10, Vista etc.)

So, I left about 600 euro's or 760 USD for a holiday update :p

Already bought a second-hand PSU (700 Watts) & a new mousemat (Steelpad)

And I've got left 350-400 Euro's / dollar...and my speakers aren't that well anymore, so why not buy some new one?


I prefer a 5.1 or 7.1 surround system..

Any ideas? Share your thoughts

ooo, me me me, The Logitech X-530 5.1, you cant go wrong, plus they are pretty cheap and high quality with sattelite stands for easy mounting. http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?inv...403-DT&cat=SPK

it sounds like one of those... spend an extra $200 for $50 worth of performance type things to me..

guess if you have tons of money do it, but wouldn't you prefer $50 speakers and have $200 for video card/ram upgrades??
