Exetel, 1500/256K. Fastest available ADSL for Australia, unless your on ADSL2 but my exchange hasn't been activated yet.

          I hate this **** country!

To give you an idea of how **** the internet services are over here take a look at this:

          1500/256K with 20GB of downloads is $70Au, that's $52.3283US. Rip off eh?

Charter, never had any issues with it. Seems like its fast, not sure of the real speeds though. Took me less then an hour to DL BF2142 if that helps.

I have Charter, and they have been nothing but a problem from day one, well actually day 6, as thats how many days after ordering service it took them to actually turn it on...and it has been down hill ever since.

Re: Which ISP u are using?

Im telling you guys, if you can get the FIOS, GO FOR IT! And, ITS NOT DSL!! There seems to be confusion in that reguard. DSL is through the phone lines, FIOS is a whole NEW technology that uses CAT5E, and latley Coax cable, to run to a OPTICAL NETWORK TERMINAL that is ON YOUR PREMISES. ITs Fiber all teh way to your garage in most cases. It simply cannot be beat. They also offer Video, and Phone, Along with Super fast internet. alL cheaper than what your paying now.
