What are your specs? AGP, PCI-E, CPU? RAM?
No need to buy a new card if the CPU is old and outdated for example...

if u have the $, i recommend either an ATI x1800 or a GeForce 7900 series.
i myself have a GeForce 7800 GTX. bf2 runs super smooth on high and looks beautiful.

No contest, 7600GT is best bang for the buck period, low power consumption, runs cool, overclocks like mad and costs exactly $140. I'd recommend http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130017

Ignore some of the negative comments on the card. It is a truth that eVGA has some quality control issues to be sure, but if you happen to be one of the unlucky ones and get a bad card eVGA has unmatched cross-ship RMA where they send you a new card, you put your old card in the box and use the prepaid label and send it back to them. The good cards are REALLY good. Lifetime warranty FTW.

I've got a great card, runs at 60c on a full load with low speed fans in my computer. Currently overclocked to 652/833, runs BF2 with a combination of medium/high settings at 1920x1080 resolution. The only reason it's not cranked all the way up is it'll take more than the 1gig of computer memory I have with high textures. But even then, medium/high with a massive 1920x1080 res out of a 134 dollar card is unbeatable. Runs at a steady 80FPS with no drops.

I recommend you to buy a decent card, even if you have to save up for it. Do not rush in to a trap and buy a ****ty card. read at www.tomshardware.com and look at tests! I have 7800GT and I love it! :) runs BF2 Like a charm! :)
