Re: ati 850 pro screenshots
I've heard that card isn't soo good and it is kind of hard to find. The problems with it are color bleeding.
Save your money and get something better. The 850 is an old card already.

Re: ati 850 pro screenshots
My X850 XT has no color bleeding and looks fine. It runs med/high settings 4x AA, 8xAF, and I get from 40-70 FPS.Originally posted by Revoluti0nI've heard that card isn't soo good and it is kind of hard to find. The problems with it are color bleeding.

Re: ati 850 pro screenshots
I have an X800 pro and I run everything on high, but I keep AA off for a smoother experience.
On wake, I get 80-100 fps, and on karkand, ~60-70, and in the big firefights ~40-50

Re: ati 850 pro screenshots
I think the performance is roughly around the 7600GT quality, and is more expensive then one too, so I'd steer towards the 7600GT.

Re: ati 850 pro screenshots
I liked your Oblivion screenshots.Very nice.
I would buy X800 GTO.You can open the pipelines and clock it to X850.Its cheaper too.
Overall,i think buying something in the X1000 range would be better, shader model 3.0 and other great stuff. Not a big price difference either.

Re: ati 850 pro screenshots
You guys are kidding me. I have a X800 pro and i run at medium with 2x and 1024 and it lags. But yes other game i can run at max but battlefield it's a pain in the rear.
My spec:
Amd 3200 64
Ram 1500 mb 3200
X800 pro

Re: ati 850 pro screenshots
While I'm here...do u guys use rivatuner to overclock? Also...would u risk overclocking if your graphics card experiences overheating after u've left ur pc on for 8 hours and have only been playing bf2 for 2 hours? I point a desk fan at my comp to keep it cool..but its also summer here and even in my basement the heat is stifling..so sometimes I go outside and play soccer or something and leave my comp on (explains the 8 hours)

Re: ati 850 pro screenshots
If you're already having problems with heat and overheating whatsoever, you should not attempt overclocking in anyway. You have no idea how easy it is to overheat your video card and physically fry your mobo as I did. I didn't think much of it, but even the slightest ambience temp change with weather rose my computer temps above the norm, so now I have the case open and put a big fan directly into it.Originally posted by da mighty carrotWhile I'm here...do u guys use rivatuner to overclock?
