on the back of my LCD tv there are the component hook-ups, and on the back of my 7600GT, there are 2 DVI hookups. if i use the adaptor for DVI to VGA that the card came with, and buy a VGA to component cable, then will i be able to get good quality image on my TV to use permanatly as a monitor? Also will i be able to run HD quality image on my TV?

Most LCD TVs, at least consumer versions, don't have RGB. They have component, Y, R-Y, B-Y. You'll probably be able to game just fine using the component signal but you'll yank your eyes out if you're trying to read text on a regular basis.
