    Joystick throttle control

I am having a prob calibrating my throttle for my logitech Wingman force 3d.
half throttle on the stick does not corrospond with half throttle in the game. the actual movement is up near the top end.

Does anyone else have the same prob?

To get around it i find a nice hovering throttle setting (about 30%) and use they keyboard to climb or sink. I would prefer to use my throttle but.

These sticks have served me well in other flightsims, mainly the great il2 game, and are generally a cheap solid joystick. The occasional recallibration is needed to keep it smooth.

i have the same issue with my sidewinder. You have to remeber BF2 is not a flight sim and i think the whole joystick thing wasnt thought through at ea!

When i move it up to 100%, it is 100% ingame.
When i move it down to 0% in the joystick, the plane goes revers...

I see. I think i have that issue. Thanks for the response guys. I'm pretty much a ground pounder anyway, keep my flyin for the old warbird stuff on il2.

As u may already know there is a new flight sim from maddox games coming out this november. First new sim in a while. I look forward to it eagerly.
